A friend adamantly recommended this book recently and was so persistent that I moved it right to the top of my list. I was very glad I did. The author, Alex Becker, became a multi-millionaire in his mid twenties by learning The 10 Pillars of Wealth. He writes in clear and simple language to simplify some basic concepts to become wealthy quickly. I listened to the book on Audible and started it again immediately after finishing it for the first time. For the past month, I have been implementing much of this advice and am seeing the results.
Here is are The 10 Pillars of Wealth:
Pillar I – Reject get rich slowly. Pillar II – Find a way to separate your time from your money. Pillar III – Accept that you must be better than everyone else. Pillar IV – Accept 100% responsibility for everything in your life. Pillar V – Adopt an abundance mindset to attract money. Pillar VI– Forget what if, focus on what is. Pillar VII – Map out the actions you need to take to achieve your goals. Pillar VIII – Focus on what gets you paid the most. Once you can, hire others to do lower-value tasks. Pillar IX – People give money to people who understand people. Pillar X – Find competitive friends and suitable mentors.
Alex uses great stories and logic to describe how and why each of these pillars should be implemented, so I definitely recommend that find a copy.
